I buy a tour shirt at pretty much every show I go to along with a poster. Haven't decided if I'll only get the cherry tree variants or both yet but some of those other shirts are great and I can always use another hat

Really it’s one of the best features of the Forest Hills venue (which has a lot of great features). Often still light out when the headliner comes on, which I don’t personally love but YMMV, but it’s definitely worth it to be out of there an hour earlier than usual. Also a lot of good bars in the neighborhood, so depending on your energy level there’s also the option of a post-show pint at a not unreasonable hour.
 
Great show last night; all three bands killed it. We were 4 back from the rail; I usually don’t go up that far but the rest of my group was enthusiastic and wanted to get there early for Lucius. I highly recommend seeing them up close at least once if you can swing it - obviously Matt is a unique/expressive stage presence but it plays a lot different up close than it does at a distance.

It seemed like they were still stocked last night on the way out, but I was planning on buying from the CT store anyway and getting a look at the member version so I didn’t check. I was able to get a foil version of the WoD poster on the way in though!

That's the back of NY Joe's head in the 2nd pic. Was talking to some friends who were there last night and they told me Joe started the queue at 4am! The next person didn't show up til 5:30!

Heard that early entry went very smoothly, it was Live Nation handling it rather than the venue. First time I've missed the Nats at Forest Hills, but all those Pearl Jam shows really caught up to me. Think I was asleep before they finished the show last night.

Matt supposedly quit drinking a while back but was definitely imbibing at the show we attended in 2023 so maybe he just took a break. Regardless, my dude definitely enjoys his vino while performing…in a fun way, not a train wreck sorta way.
