The National

I am still seeing it available for purchase. Weird.

They're available to add to cart but you can't check out. Ended up getting the grey.

Two versions of the same record for $120 😳😳😳

I variant collected for SWB, IAETF and the HV 10th Anniversary, but even before I got both HV versions in the mail, I was already regretting the decision. I'll just pick one and be happy with it instead.
Don't forget the other exclusive at Bullmoose... so $140 without shipping lolol

Damn. I must have gotten lucky. I tried to check out once and it wouldn't let me. Then I added it back and checked out and it worked for me. Email confirmation says turquoise blue/signed. The gray is cool too though!

I am a weak, weak man and ordered the grey marble signed deluxe. The 35 page booklet and bonus album sold it for me. $69 shipped - oof.

Welcome to the club 😂 This is most of my National vinyl collection (I forgot to include El Vy and Day of the Dead) and have since preordered Bryan’s new record and at least three editions of Serpentine Prison. It’s a sickness

Nice! I decided to cut back and just keep my favorite variant of each album instead of multiples. But damn this looks impressive.

Holy cow that’s impressive!!!

I completely forgot they were in the Bob’s Burgers box, which I used to have, but it was taking up too much shelf space for how often I ever listened to it.

My collection almost complete except their s/t, I'm holding out hope for a fancy colored edition at some point, and A Lot of Sorrow. ALoS used to go for sub-$200 and I could have gotten it at that point but now people want $500 for it on discogs so it'll probably never happen.

I'm missing a red copy of Cherry Tree and a blue translucent copy of S/T. There is also one other variant of the original HV that I need (I have the violet, black and need the violet translucent) I have A Lot of Sorrow and remember coming across a used copy of it at my local shop many years ago - was tempted to buy it (I think it was priced at maybe $100ish) and I stupidly left it there thinking why do I need two copies of it? I have a bunch of friends who would love it but like you said, it's rare to find it for under $500 now.

I also regret not buying a second copy of Pearl Jam's Benaroya box set - I remember thinking in 2004 "wow, $49 shipped is a LOT to spend for a boxset of records" Ooops. There's one on discogs now for $3,000!

Gives me ptsd to selling a Cake boxset for $135 and like $20 in trade credit.

My guess was they were all 500 but not really sure. It only said 500 for blue in the bundle package info I think and not the blue writeup
There is nothing mentioning an actual limit on his website like there was for the blue... I'm guessing that the vinylmnky 2 LP indie exclusive may be available in brick & mortar stores? I may ask my store tomorrow and see if they are planning to get in the grey marble deluxe. If so, I can *almost* justify buying that additional copy since I won't have to pay for shipping.

So I'm reading that Matt recorded 12 originals and 7 covers. Anyone know what the original to cover ratio is on the 10 track standard version of the album? If most of the bonus tracks are covers I think I'll stick to that one. I'm trying to talk myself out of the deluxe :)

It looks like the covers are mostly the bonus tracks? I recognize some but not all of them.
