Missed so many pages of this convo.
I ended up getting the signed turquoise first pressing. Stupid price, but hopefully worth it. Can't do more than that. For The National, I definitely variant collect. But I don't know, I just don't feel that compelled to for Matt's solo album. The one is probably enough. I am looking forward to it and everything, but I just don't have that same compulsion I do with the band's stuff.

I totally get it. This is not the same as a The National record to me, but I do love Matt, and since I ordered a ridiculous bundle for Bryan's LP, I somehow convinced myself to order all the variants. It's stupid of me, but I almost felt I had to, if that makes sense.

This happens a lot on Amazon usually the week leading up to the release the price jumps! Is this delay for everyone or just Amazon? I just assume everything is delayed these days!

Yeah, I notice that a lot as well. The delay, I believe, is just for Amazon Canada - Amazon.com still has the 16th for release and I am sure the locals will have it as normal next Friday....just Amazon.ca being a bit late to the party (which is not surprising).
