I love CP3 though.
I know people hate CP though...
My favorite CP3 (if there was one):

That would de fine too. They can eliminate divisions too while they are at it.My guess is they would add 2 more teams before they take away another one. The NBA is crazy popular. The play in tournament was a success too it seems. Add 2 teams (One west one East), add a short play-in tournament and go from there.
So can the Oakland - LA - Oakland - Las Vegas RaidersThe LA>StL>LA Rams could relate.
The CP3 to the lakers trade veto is still one of the biggest what ifs in the modern NBAMy favorite CP3 (if there was one):
I concur and feel the exact same way about the Mavs and Rockettes. I am down with Portland though, they are due.I cannot, for the life of me, ever convince myself to support a division rival.
The math tells you a Chris Paul midrange is still a pretty good shot though. Nearly 40% on 58 attempted 3s is still insanely good considering the volume and I bet HOU would take that every game. The difference in the game came at the FT line, which the math also says is the best shot in basketball besides an open layup. 10 attempts just isn't enough but I think that's credit to OKC for staying disciplined on closeouts. This battle been over. The nerds won.The numbers also say that OKC just won with CP hitting some midrange shots at the end while the Rockets bricked 20 3s haha. Basketball isn't played with math.
See I think the nerds lost haha. The rockets are math conscious to a fault as evidenced by games like today and the GSW game 7. It’s shoot 3’s or get to the FT line. Refs tighten up in the playoffs and when Harden tries to bait them into a foul 9/10 times they don’t seem to call it. He had a play near the end where he tried to draw contact and refs didn’t fall for it and he missed the shot. The math tells you a Chris Paul midrange is still a pretty good shot though. I also bet they would rather walk out with a W than be happy with their stats in a loss. They need to make adjustments in the playoffs and Dantoni still hasn’t done much of that. Won’t be surprised if Morey and DAntoni are both gone after this season and Fertitta tries to shed salary.I bet HOU would take that every game.

Focusing on 3’s and FTs makes sense if you’re playing the game on a spreadsheet but it’s not quite that simple. I understand you have greater odds of scoring but we have seen time and time again that it doesn’t always pay off and the math doesn’t take into account the human element where when a team misses 27 in a row from 3, maybe they shouldn’t keep letting them fly...
I know CP’s midrange is money but teams and GMs act like the midrange is dead and it’s always good to have in your arsenal if you get in a lull offensively or need a bucket down the stretch.
HOU generated 1.190 points per possession on 3s for the game. That's elite offense (DAL led the league with 1.132). I'm just saying the 3 ball isn't where they lost today's game. And Harden needs to stop doing the embellishment shtick at the end of games, there's enough evidence to know it doesn't work in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if they clean house either, but that's because fertitta's a cheapskate. Both would have a job immediately if they wanted it.I also bet they would rather walk out with a W than be happy with their stats in a loss. There’s a difference though between having an analytics influence and living and dying by analytics. Houston does the latter. Basketball isn’t played on a spreadsheet. Dallas had an elite offense this year but they still lost a ton of games and I believe they had the worst offensive in clutch situations. There’s a human element to basketball and analytics can’t possibly account for it. It’s the same reason why you don’t draft players based on analytics alone. Houston’s ppp on 3’s doesn’t matter because they went stone cold in the 2nd half and lost. James Harden doesn’t care what the ppp were. He cares if they win or lose.HOU generated 1.190 points per possession on 3s for the game. That's elite offense (DAL led the league with 1.132). The mid-range game is dead because offenses that take a lot of them are bad overall, even if they're good at it. But I guarantee you no coach is gonna tell Chris Paul not to take one in the last 2 minutes of a game. Even when he was with HOU, he took nearly a third of his shots between 10 ft and the 3pt line.
I'd say we see time and time again the math does work. Good teams have strong analytics influence in their front offices with the exception being teams that LeBron decided he wanted to play for.
Haha I made this joke because I assumed it was one year ago, which felt about right and would explain why everyone was talking about him today. Just found out it was actually this past January. 2020, folks. Can’t believe it’s been 7 years since Kobe died.
Kobe’s Birthday was yesterday he would have turned 42,that is why there have been several tributes over the last few days. That all being said, I totally get what your saying, 2020 is deep and endless shit.Haha I made this joke because I assumed it was one year ago, which felt about right and would explain why everyone was talking about him today. I really don’t want LeBron to win the championship this year. Please. Anybody but him...
I appreciate everything about Lebron. That being said, he has always been the perfect foil to root against, similar to Tom Brady.Fixed to reflect my current feelings.

I've been a pretty big Lebron fan for most of his career, but I can't stand LA teams, so once he became a Laker he was dead to me. I hope he never even makes it to a finals in LAI appreciate everything about Lebron. That being said, he has always been the perfect foil to root against, similar to Tom Brady.
Add Kobe and at least one of the four has been in the finals each year since 2005-06.The team coming out of the East this year will be the first team to make the finals without being led by LeBron, Curry, or Kawhi since OKC in the 2011-2012 season
