I need to break out the laptop, catch up scores and the link lists. I might get around to that this week.Oh, and Nick Drake is a 4.5/5 (if you even are tabulating scores anymore)

The website. I ain’t got time for all that. Are we supposed to rate albums in the thread or on the website?
Ok, then I'm doing it right. Although i feel like I rate 90% of the albums a 3. Keeping them average! The website. I ain’t got time for all that.
I feel like I give too many of them 5s. lol.Ok, then I'm doing it right. Although i feel like I rate 90% of the albums a 3. Keeping them average!
For me 3 is "that was an enjoyable listen, I might listen to it again". 4 is "That was a really good listen, I'll definitely listen to that again" and 5 is "That was a stone cold classic and I'm currently ordering the vinyl" (And The Offspring of course)I feel like I give too many of them 5s. lol.
I love Hole and think their last album is way better than people remember, but I get why it wasn't as popular as their first couple especially with everyone's view of Love. I think Francis had just said her mom sucked and wasn't going to talk to her anymore right when that last one dropped. But it's a very introspective album for Love and sticks with me when I listen. Would love for it to get repressed. This is a great album. Unlike In Utero, it makes me dwell on Kurt’s death. Doesn’t necessarily make sense nor is it fair, but it’s the reality of the situation.
I never really bothered to pay attention to Hole before or after this album. I probably should check out their other stuff sometime.
I agree that the last Hole was pretty good! Celebrity Skin is flawed but has some of their best songs ("Boys on the Radio" and "Awful"). Love's solo album also had some great moments. The only album I actually don't like that much by them/her is the debut, "Pretty on the Inside".I love Hole and think their last album is way better than people remember, but I get why it wasn't as popular as their first couple especially with everyone's view of Love. It actually makes perfect sense, since many songs on the album is about Kurt and Courtneys releationship and the cracks in the surface of that whole drug infused reality and therefore kinda chronicles Kurts impending death, at least in the subtext on songs like Violet, Doll Parts and I Think That I Would Die.This is a great album. I love Costello. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to this album.
I knew of it just didn’t get this far back in the nineties when I was buying up the rhino reissues. He had disbanded the Attractions the album before this, then rehired them and slowed to make this record. That’s about all I know about it.I don't think I've ever even seen nor heard of this one...

You're in for a treat. A record recorded live in the studio during bad times for the relationship of the band. That vitriol makes it one of Declan's best.I don't think I've ever even seen nor heard of this one...
