The only thing I really know from the Go Go's is the radio hits. But this album is great. Catchy and fun as hell. It also sounds a lot less dated than I was expecting. 4/5.

They had a decent Behind The Music about them back in the day. I wish Paramount+ would offer those old episodes up. I would love to rewatch some of those again.

One of my all time favorite albums. They took everything that made Paul’s Boutique and Check Your Head great and threw in a nice dose of adulthood.

I miss ol @bluejay he said this was the album where they became Beastie Men.

This was the first Beastie Boy CD I owned. Still love all the way through. They guys were arguably the coolest group of the early 90s.

Is that Beasties show still on AppleTV? Might have to watch that again.

The opening riff is so anthemic, it is up there with Paranoid and Satisfaction with recognizability.

And that video. Being of a similar age as the band, we all grew up on terrible 70s cop shows

I already have the two cd deluxe and don’t really like the deluxe treatment on vinyl. I’m very happy with the copy I have on vinyl.

I remember having the cassette back in the day. Thing stayed in the tape player of the car. I also thought it was cool cause it was green.

Not at that price, but I managed to get those other two for about $50 each, so hopefully this one will eventually get discounted heavily.

I have Hello Nasty. I don’t yet own Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2 or The Mix-Up. I have some fun singles, EPs, and side projects on vinyl too.

The one box set I wouldn’t mind is their Sound Of Science comp. I had that CD and listened to it a bunch. I would be thrilled if they reissued that one at some point.


Also, I really wish they would bundle up all 5 issues of Grand Royal magazine and put it a nice hardcover. That magazine is awesome. I have considered buying the single issues but even rough copies of individual issues for for $30-$50 a pop.
