Same but Conan was basically part of my nightly routine throughout High School and beyond up until he moved to the Tonight Show. I would watch either The Daily Show (and later, The Colbert Report) or Letterman then flip over to Conan and would usually watch until I fell asleep.

Well paying homage to Tomorrow Never Knows on the first track is a way to get my attention. Enjoying this so far.

The original vinyl ends with Vapour Trail. I find if go much longer than that it starts to drag. The original CD was 11 tracks and ended with Nowhere

This is the first shoegaze that isn’t Jesus and Mary Chain that I really dig and could see landing in the collection. I hear Jesus and Mary Chain, the Stone Roses and the Beatles in it. It is very listenable and never just drags on or feels like noise for noise sake. If all shoegaze was was this good, I would get why so many folks love it.

Just curious, have you ever listened to Slowdive? They tend to land more on the dream pop side of Shoegaze but they're my absolute favorite of all the big shoegaze bands. Maybe even a top 10 all time band for me.

Yeah Slowdive is one of the bands I have listened to.

It does get a little long in the tooth after the original album is over. It’s not bad though.

Definitely much more pop oriented than MBV. Explains why singer/guitarist worked later with Oasis and Beady eye

To follow up a bit more, most of it kind of just makes me sleepy.

Ride are probably my 2nd favorite shoegaze band. They blend together the melodic and noisy sides of shoegaze. I feel like you can just throw this album on whenever. It's not like Loveless where you have to be in the right mood to want to play it.
