The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

Never understood the love for this album the the critics. While I enjoyed some of Scritti’s early singles because of their purposely rank amateurism, this album always left me cold. I think there were better ‘new pop’ albums done by post-punk bands. That said, I still have my old vinyl copy of this record so I might put it on later this afternoon.
 
I kind of like it for stuff like this. “The great sophisti-pop band…” is a great way to tell me to avoid whatever is getting ready to happen.

What was it about coke that made this not boring?
