ABBA Gold is one of the few albums I consider to be 10/10. If that’s the only ABBA album you listen to I totally get it. But I’m a huge defender that ABBA has several fantastic albums that are more than worth it to check out and this is absolutely one of them. The singles are obvious highlights and “Dancing Queen” specifically is one of my favorite songs of all time, but just focusing on the singles/Gold songs you miss out of songs like “My Love, My Life” which is one of their most beautiful songs and “Why’d it Have to Be Me” which is a bop.

I prefer both Voulez Vous and Super Trouper to this album but if this is their only rep in the book it is a great representation of who they are and I hope it gets people to check out their deep cuts

The 1975 album is pretty solid and worth checking out. The first 2 are skips overall though. Starting with Arrival they are all pretty great though
