Vintage Equipment

I did this for my C356 a year or so ago and they wanted like $90 so I said lol go fuck yourselves.

EDIT: I found the email: $43.20 + $20 shipping (plus sales tax)
Oh wow, this replacement remote seems like it should work for the c316bee V1, is made by NAD and costs $20

Mmmmm I'm not sure. It says V2, and I don't believe the original remote was "Amp 4". Not certain that will work.

For 20 bucks and the option to send it back; seems like a reasonable gamble. Can always call Audio Advisor to inquire. Most audio manufacturers don't change their IR codes very often.
Yeah I'll give them a call. The issue is that it'll cost $20+ shipping here and then $20+ shipping back so if it's not the right one I will pay $40 to find out.

ayyy thanks to some help and a push from @hahahaha_totally, my KEFs are back in business! forgot how good these things sound. may replace my dentons on my desk for a bit since they are a bit smaller.
For us vintage fans...we better all learn how to fix this stuff. My prediction...in about 10 years you are going to see a glut of vintage gear on the open market for cheap. The "fixers" are a dying breed. And GOOD-GREAT repair techs?...well...let's just say you better get your stuff fixed now...versus later.
