Fuck it, I'd still be in. 100%. 200% even. But we all know it's gonna be the No Limit Anthology.
Uhh!
Hopefully not Tommy Boy, because fuck Tommy Boy, but probably Tommy Boy.
I'll take a Trick Daddy anthology.What I want:

It's gonna be a No Limit Records anthology and it'll set the stage for Masta P's triumphant return.
I'd be in but only if it keeps the original crappy artwork and comes with some temporary tattoos, a bonus 7" of Kenny's Dead, and some pogs.I'm 100% in IF they include a bootleg DVD of the cinematic masterpiece I'm Bout It!!
I double checked and didn’t see anything that she did with Impulse. Maybe they’re working on a Chess/Cadet box set? That could be interestingIn the VMP discord Q&A they said there’d be Dorothy Ashby in an upcoming Anthology (correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think she ever did anything with Impulse).
They also said they’re working on at least one hip hop anthology, but it probably won’t be out until 2024.

Ooh boy…with the abundance of classic records on Impulse this would be a hell of a choiceWell there ya go. Dorothy Ashby was on an Impulse record. Never heard this one.
You know what would be cool for a hip hop anthology - Quannum Projects or Rawkus Records
Interesting...so we know there's one John Coltrane, one Alice Coltrane, one Pharoah Sanders in Impulse so far... judging the one or two albums Ashby was on on Impulse, guessing you're right that it's not the Impulse anthology that he's talking about. I feel like Storf has been wanting to do a Chess/Cadet box for forever so that's my guess too. Other than Open Mike Eagle I'm not very familiar with any of their artists. Anyone you'd recommend me to check out?How about a Mello anthology where they issue all of the albums with the original 2LP versions, not the edited single LPs.
Apollo Brown, Quelle Chris, Oddisee, Skyzoo.Other than Open Mike Eagle I'm not very familiar with any of their artists. Anyone you'd recommend me to check out?
