Vinyl Me Please Anthology

I have store credit I would like to use and haven't been able to do so. I missed the Stax, QJ, Vanguard, and Ghetto record Anthologies. So I'm thinking about this.
I woulda considered it since the titles are listed this time but I have a majority of the anthologies I wanted. If somebody bought it and gets Sinatra at the Sands and doesn’t want it….holler at me!

All I want is Willie's Across The Borderline, and I would likely have paid a ridiculous price to get it... but definitely not for a maybe
Didn't many of those have QC issues? I remember lots of people with that anthology sadly never getting a clean copy of that one.

I grabbed the Willie antho in a random shop app restock that was maybe one or two copies. Really enjoy that one. Hoping he reissues Across The Borderline since I know that's been a really requested one.

Lots of qc issues. I ended up getting a second box because the majority of mine were bad and then a partial refund because they just didn't think flat/good copies existed

Dang. Guess I got lucky in a backhanded way then.

also the email says that they are on the last 200 of the def jam box set.. which sounds impressive.. until you realize they only made like 600 of them and thus it flopped only selling 2/3 of its stock

I wouldn’t call it a flop. Selling 2/3 of it’s stock in 2 months, as the highest price per LP antho they have released, and containing far from the best of Def Jam… it’s not a bad result at all. They’re getting a great realization on this, and it may sell out without a discount.

Looks like nowagain is already selling the Memphis rap titles individually
There was an announcement about a month or so ago. But I don't think they're doing all the titles, although there's another title that wasn't in the box (RAN - Gotta Be Lyrical). I was kinda surprised that VMP isn't doing a version.
