We can switch to guessing what the big VMP mess-up will be for each album. Lots of warps? A strange clicking sound on side C? Jacket misprints? A strange pungent odor that will forever stick to your turntable?

First prediction- a pressing error for Songs for the Deaf will cause a strange high-pitched whine that leaves listeners temporarily deaf.

A lot of people got a full replacement at first before it was discovered that it was a widespread issue.
There's also a letter explaining that it was a scratch on the stamper that caused the issue.

I'm referring to my initial VMP copy of Stars- Set Yourself on Fire. There was an issue with all pressings where there were very loud pops and click throughout the beginning of the song Calendar Girl. On a song like Calendar Girl, which starts off pretty soft, it's VERY noticeable.
They're now sending everyone a replacement pressing with no sleeve. I don't know what to do with my copy that has the pops on it
