I'm referring to my initial VMP copy of Stars- Set Yourself on Fire. There was an issue with all pressings where there were very loud pops and click throughout the beginning of the song Calendar Girl. On a song like Calendar Girl, which starts off pretty soft, it's VERY noticeable.

They're now sending everyone a replacement pressing with no sleeve. I don't know what to do with my copy that has the pops on it

Buy yourself a little clock arm kit at your local craft store and with the tightening of one little assembly tada! Another clock you will inevitably never replace the battery in.

That's crazy fast. I don't even have a tracking number yet...

got my Soft Bulletin yesterday. Haven't spun it yet, but the package looks top notch. I must have read things wrong because I thought the lenticular cover would be on the jacket (like some of the Third Man ones) and not just an insert, but still cool.

Nope. my 3 ROTM slots are filled by Soft Bulletin, Africa Brasil, and Sampa the Great, so I have no idea what's going on :/

I got my box today. The Flaming Lips, Clairo, Angel Olsen and Brittany Howard. All flat as pancakes. The lenticular cover insert is really cool on The Soft Bulletin. But tbh, I think I really just want every single jacket to be like the VMP edition of Feist and Mitski, those were beautiful, great weight, and perfect to the touch. It’s what the industry standard should be for the price we pay on any vinyl tbh.

Did anyone watch the livestream Q&A? A lot of surface level questions, but Wayne is always a joy to listen to. I did enjoy his slightly annoyed but diplomatic response to seeing the VMP symbol on the back of the jacket, "Oh so there's a giant Vinyl Me, Please stamp on the back. Thats...great. Look at that."

Lot of dead wax on these Soft Bulletin LPs - they probably should have made these 45 rpm.

Would also be much cooler if the cover itself was lenticular. I’m seriously considering grabbing one of my kids’ glue sticks....

my copy of The Soft Bulletin sounds great, the drums especially shine.

I have similar issues with that insert cover though... i don't know why they made it smaller than 12"x12"

Got my FLips yesterday, looks like straight USPS is faster than Fedex Smartpost to USPS handoff.
Listened once last night, sounded pretty good - I see it's a GZ pressing. One song had some noise, but I want to check if that's in the song or a flaw in the vinyl.
