I'm at 4, I seem to remember that the Tricky album was being reissued this year

edit - I may have dreamt it. I can't see anything about it, but thought a 2lp version was due to come out.

I have 3 of these. Would have loved to see some Lamb on this list! Gorecki is an all time favorite track for me.

I woulda added some Nightmares On Wax and Sneaker Pimps. Does Nujabes qualify as Trip-Hop or does that fall more under the Instrumental Hip-Hop umbrella?

I've only listened to "Becoming X" and "Bloodsport" but man...hard to get into Bloodsport after Kelli Ali left. Becoming X deserves to be on there though.

I think it's more Instrumental Hip-hop/ Jazzy Hip-hop than trip-hop.

Yeah, the lack of Morcheeba was a bit surprising.

Can also confirm the MOVs of the first two Lamb albums are also real nice. Like, REALLY good.

I mean...doesn't DJ Shadow kinda fall under that umbrella too? I don't think I ever considered him Trip Hop.

Yeah, I'd put it in a bucket with Cut Chemist, RJD2, Handsome Boy Modelling School etc...it's not the first time I've heard DJ Shadow referred to as Trip Hop and I've always disagreed with the categorization.
