Interesting rumor.
I have a pretty spotless OG or I would be interested.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why you'd get Barry Grint of all people to re-do a definitive Chris Bellman mastering. I'm sure Bruce's "woos" will be loud AF though, like Ric Flair is in your living room.Isn't the currently available reissue considered the definitive version? Would be a weird choice.
Mine looks spotless but is insanely noisy, maybe this was the reminder I needed to order the plangent one.I have a pretty spotless OG or I would be interested.
Yeah, I love this album but multiple remasters for a lo-fi 4 Track home recording within a half decade is a bit excessive.Yeah, I'm not really sure why you'd get Barry Grint of all people to re-do a definitive Chris Bellman mastering. Yup. Them reissuing John Prine's self-titled immediately after we got a KG cut tells me that no matter how silly it seams, VMP may end up doing it.Seems pretty on brand, actually.

I was wondering about that too, since they did do the alternate version of the Stooges album a while back. What if it was the ‘rock’ version of Nebraska with the E Street band?
