"Lost Sounds Found" is why they will reissue it, as apparently no one at VMP has seen or heard from Judas Priest in decades and "Sad Wings" is a "collector's holy grail" to reissue on some smoky vinyl variant.

On a more serious note, "Sad Wings" is a great LP but hey, give me a fresh pressing of "Defenders" or "Painkiller" instead.

Ps "Invincible Shield" is 2024 AOTY but sssshhhh, don't let facts get in the way of a good story about missing white whales, it ruins the FOMO

actually the lost sounds found tagline is being taken out.... so they don't even have that excuse

a lot of the guesses in the discord are either British steel (because the obvious one with all the pop energy), Painkiller (very metal and shows off their extreme side), or search for destruction (the middle ground)

my brother ALMOST saw them live last month but it was right after my sisters graduation so that friend went with someone else instead.. it was a great time apparently but its clear his voice is getting strained
 
Are Winistorfers Listening Notes getting worse ?
I’ve just gone thru the pain of reading Black Moses. Tedious is the word, and do we really need the hubris of “about the author” at the end ! God that man loves a title and is full of pride.

I stopped reading the ones he wrote a year or two ago. I can’t remember which album it was, but there was one where his notes nearly made me like the album LESS just because of his pontificating.
 
I was reading the label’s booklet to Samuel Prody the other night and that thing makes Storf seem great. It was clear that it was an email interview and the dude just rambled about everything, but instead of editing it to read coherently… they would just create a question that correlated to the rambling. Problem was, it was very clear the question was not asked in the “answer.” Anyhow, it made me like Storf just a little more. lol.
