I said it could be as big of a deal to folks, but then again, I was wrong about Knxwledge maybe opening tons of spots, so idk!

If I had to take a shot in the dark I'd guess that the essentials is what's correct...

Out of all of the choices, I would be most excited for The Roots. I don't care about the price of standard albums on Amazon. I am personally signed up for nice pressings of great albums and this would check both boxes for me.

I actually think it holds up really well to this day. Aside from the David Blane skit that jokes about rape, which is so cringeworthy and probably reason enough that VMP will never press it.

I’d call it a great album, but not a classic in any real sense.

This is a great Roots album. I probably wouldn't upgrade my black copy, but I'd be happy for those who don't own it or want a better version!
