Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Hey... I have an open ticket with VMP and I can't see my tickets any more on their ZenDesk site. Is anyone else not able to see their tickets anymore?
I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for a response....

My Townes Van Zandt order got 'lost' and one of the records is no longer in stock. They offered me a swap for anything in the store up to $35. Suggestions that I may have looked? I still have a few months left on all three tracks, so nothing from those.

I didn't know this was a thing. How do you look up your ticket?
I believe you could look up your tickets once you logged into ZenDesk to see the status of your issue.
I know this is possible because I've used ZenDesk before for IT help desk tickets.
Typically, you click on your name in the top right and then click My Activity and it shows the tickets there.

Non-ROTM options

If you want something more country, since it's Townes, there are the Margo Price, Courtney Marie Andrews, and Lukas Nelson albums

Other random options that might be worth checking out...

Cornelius - Fantasma
Sun Ra - Celestial Love
Tunde Mabadou - Viva Disco
Shina Williams And His African Percussionists- African Dances
Little Beaver - Party Down
Fiona Apple - When The Pawn or FTBC
MNDSGN - Bed
Caleb Landry Jones - The Mother Stone

I’d say Fetch The Bolt Cutters. If you haven’t got it. Which Townes album got lost?

Hmm... 5 people used the loophole but 297 of 300 albums went to members

Well if it ever works for Fantastic Damage YOU TELL ME, YOU TELL ME IMMEDIATELY

I mean... you can click it now. It doesn't. Fan Dam drops Friday, though, so, if something changes and l see it, I will let you know. Honestly, I'm kind of hoping the reissue is really basic, for selfish reasons. I have an OG and I don't want to feel like I need a new one, at the moment. I've been buying a lot of shit

It turns out that a physical Fan Dam probably isn't dropping tomorrow, after all. It's just the digital appearing on streaming services today. I'll Sleep will have another pressing later this year.

From the press release

"Iconic rapper and producer El-P, perhaps best known as one half of powerhouse rap duo Run the Jewels, recently announced an extensive reissue campaign of his full solo catalog via Fat Possum Records. Unavailable for nearly a decade, January 2020 marked the digital release of I'll Sleep When You're Dead, on streaming services for the very first time since its initial release in 2007. Today, his critically acclaimed and massively influential 2002 debut solo album, Fantastic Damage, makes its own official streaming debut in conjunction with its 18th anniversary, to be followed by physical editions of both albums later this year."

If those 5 people bought more than 2 copies, cancel the orders. If not, LET THEM LIVE.
I don't want to see anyone from here that opted to order it themselves, rather than having a member do it for them, lose their order.

Yeah, I don't think those five should be punished for VMP's own screwup. But anyone who ordered more than two copies (member or otherwise) should definitely have their orders reduced back down to the stated maximum, and then offer a spare to poor @CountZero
