But the problem is when you look at their store pricing now, you have to consider the store cost as your valuation now. Think of it like this: VMP says their albums cost $34-$40 each in the store. You’re getting a discount technically by subscribing by only paying $27 (or less). Store exclusives are almost all $30+ now. Your monthly store credit won’t even be able to buy 1 album in most cases now so swapping for store credit gets you even less. By swapping for credit you’re pretty much getting a bum exchange rate. If you want those high demand albums later on (or pretty much whenever you want to cash in) you’re getting less bang for your buck.I can see why they wouldn’t do this, but you raise a good point. If they keep this system, it essentially nullifies the need for a yearly membership. You can do monthly and just cash in on the good, high demand albums while “skipping” the poor ones.
