Agreed, I don't see any reports on cogs of the other pressings having noise. But there's really only a couple reviews... But it's all GZ I think so I wouldn't be surprised.

That’s kind of where I’m at. I’ll still jump on it if it hits swaps, but I’m not gonna burn store credit or a discount code on it. It definitely fell on my priority list.

It will definitely hit swaps and/or go on sale for like half price! 100%! The fact that there are still over 400 copies of this Shabaka exclusive and that it has been in store for a while now, means it will hit swaps or will be reduced in the near-future!

Mine has the no-fill crackle at the end of the side D, after the song ends so I don't mind mine lol. It sounds good to me.

As long as it's after the song ends I don't mind... But in my experience with GZ on my system, I tend to be able to hear it before the side ends. In most cases...

I don’t think I understand what no-fill crackle even means!? Can you explain what exactly that is? Can this occur during a song being played or only after a song has finished?

It’s a VMP + GZ special effect...
A vinyl non-fill record comes from a problem with the molten vinyl. If it doesn’t pour properly or it starts to harden too early, the machines can’t cut the groove properly. The results are poor sound quality and a “shooshing” noise. In fact, if the record is held in the right light, it’s even possible to see the non-fill area.
Yeah for me it’s audible during the music at the end of sides A, B and D. Third copy is in the way. Hopefully it’s clean, but I’ll be shocked if it is.

Peanuts seems to be selling steady, I don’t think it’ll make it to swaps or a sale. I might pick it up when I end up using the 10% off code.
VMP has been extremely stubborn with Shabaka, and I can’t figure out why.
Ivy Sole seems destined for clearance which is a damned shame. I think I might actually like it more than the studio version.

I'm so excited to join them! They look great and it's totally more of my vibe/curation, unlike Secretly Society! Secretly Society was still good but I just ran out of Swaptions real quick and only liked around 10%-20% of their albums of the month! And the Secretly Store albums I do like (Durand Jones & The Indications, Khruangbin, Faye Webster, Stella Donnelly, Angel Olsen, Moses Sumney etc), VMP do exclusives of! Wax Buyers seems totally different in that respect, so I'm down!
