So I had a few VMP packages come in today and im just checking them all for warps before playing and the Phoebe Bridgers release stopped me dead in my tracks. Not only is the record super cool looking, but I had no idea that Chris Riddell was doing the artwork for the booklet. As a kid I loved this book called 'Beyond the Deepwoods' which Chris did the artwork for. It's really individualistic and over the years I have looked back to it for the artwork alone. As soon as I opened the first page of the booklet I honestly did a double-take as his style is instantly recognisable. It's just incredible. Im about to listen to the album now but the booklet alone and the memories it had brought back is worth the price alone.

Secretly seem really to love that wave effect. I have 1 or 2 society releases with the effect that look gorgeous. This time they have given vmp this variant
 
Decided to cancel (or try to) my pre-order of Ask the Ages since I could use the extra money and I think at this point, that record is gonna sit in the shop for a long time to come. I'll probably pick it up later this month. (Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many of those moved? It seems like the response to it was very lukewarm.)

I’m very happy the Sonny Sharrock is selling well! Awesome that 1,500 copies have already been sold! I hope it continues to sell well so then VMP are encouraged to press more free jazz records like that! 😊

I feel like they're being especially stubborn with Shabaka for some reason. Like, it really should have been put in swaptions already for the last month or two. Peanuts does seem to have slowed down a bit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it sells out on its own in the next month or so.

Ivy Sole will be a $5 Black Friday Sale purchase. And they'll still have 300 left afterwards.

Yeah, they should’ve put Shabaka in the last ROTM Swaptions last month! I don’t understand why it wasn’t there! Hopefully VMP put it in the upcoming Swaptions! It’s a nice thank you to the members!

I can’t imagine Vince Guaraldi selling out anytime soon to be honest. I think it will have to go on sale for it to sell out, just like with the last Vince Guaraldi Halloween release!

Yeah, Ivy Sole for sure is going to be in the sale section in the future! They should’ve limited the release to 300 copies, but I guess as Ivy Sole was a previous ROTM, VMP would have thought this release would be much popular!

NewsFedora just put that number in to check, as he would’ve assumed Sonny Sharrock has sold at least 500 copies! I’m sure the Sonny Sharrock is still a 2,000 copies run! 🙂
