Do not sleep on Jay Som. Melina is so fantastic. I already got the early bird from PV. But Everybody Works was one of the best records of the year a few years ago and “Superbike” is a great lead single.

I would say don’t sleep on her, but don’t buy the VMP edition when polyvinyl still has theirs available and I think it’s a better record than VMPs:

They usually arrive before the album drops... unless you have other pre-orders to be released at a later date. Then they ship together when the last is released.

I'm not that bothered by the scratch on stars

Mostly because I didn't know that was a problem and not just something that happens with the mastering of some records

But even knowing it's a problem I don't mind it too much

I did ask for a replacement and later a refund. But I can still listen to one of my copies because hell my copy of garden of deletes got a pop and I still love it

I like the experience of vinyl, even the faults

This specific pre-order is set to ship 9 days before release date with the digital download available a week before.

And this delay is because the pressing was bad and we have very good quality standards.
And this isn’t really a delay: we were just being too optimistic the first time we estimated shipping.
And this delay is because a mouse chewed through the brakes of the delivery truck.
And this delay is because the artist summoned a demon that has cursed the pressing plant.
And this delay is because we accidentally pressed triangles instead of circles.
And this delay is because we didn’t realize there was a weekend EVERY seven days. Calendars, man.
And this delay is because we just thought of the idea to sell this record yesterday.
