Lol thanks! I figured this situation warranted the sequel to the original Very Meaty Pizza post. The sub title was going to be Lost Sauces Found, but I liked Lost in Sauce better@Btsvinylfarm The new Reddit post..... wow!
@Skalap I think I saw earlier you were wondering about international "bridge" discounts. Looks like this is it. So pretty much the same as the original prices for us, but likely just a one time deal then it goes up. So assuming they don't go out of business within a year (certainly possible) the best deal is the year rate which is pretty close to where it's always been.
I resubbed last month on the discounted 3mths after a year away. Next renewal is now showing at $149 for 3mth international. I paid $87 for this cycle - quite a jump!Mine says 6 month is $219 hah yikes.
Why did I read this in Trump voice? The warps are a feature.
No one has warps like these warps.
The added value is warps.
All good things come to an end.Really bummed this is coming to an end. I almost want to do the 12 month sub just to hang around for as long as possible (I’m a masochist I guess).
I kinda wrote it in that voice, so it makes sense. Why did I read this in Trump voice?

We looked extensively at that pricing strategy and have concluded that in order to continue to provide the stellar service that our customers have become accustomed to since we started this business six minutes ago we simply have to charge $500 to allow for uh... overheads and um... underlings and like... manufacturing of... stuff.$500 is too much. Give me a bridge offer. $495 and I'm in.
This seems shady I would like someone to review the legalese. We looked at that pricing strategy and have concluded that in order to continue to provide the stellar service that our customers have become accustomed to since we started this business six minutes ago we simply have to charge $500 to allow for uh... overheads and um... underlings and like... manufacturing uh... stuff.
You RAAAAAAAANG?This seems shady I would like someone to review the legalese.
Thanks but I think it was @Selaws who asked about that.
Cheers for this guys, think it got buried in the sea of messages. I'm currently paying $108 every 3 months so $112 is a reasonable jump compared with what I expected. Obviously the way that it has been worded this strongly implies that after this it will go up again.Oops yes I think you're right.
Let me know what you find, I may go yearly too but I'm a little concerned about recovering my money if they go under. I'm not sure if PayPal covers bankruptcy.Cheers for this guys, think it got buried in the sea of messages. Before all this kicked off I was going to jump to the yearly. With the discount on the new price I would be paying less than I have been. The obvious issue is what would happen if they did go into liquidation. All my transactions are through Paypal so I think I'm covered. I will have to do a bit of digging on their website and see. I have 3 weeks until I should get an email from VMP, so plenty of time to assess.
Will do. A quick search shows a brief discussion in the 'paypal community' which states you would be covered, but im going to need some confirmation from Paypla themselves before I commit to anything.Let me know what you find, I may go yearly too but I'm a little concerned about recovering my money if they go under. You daft idiot you weren't supposed to tell them that until AFTER I have all the subscriptions locked in. What the hell...I would also note that at no time did he state what the milk crates in his basement actually contain. So if you receive a slightly used spatula YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RECOURSE
