Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Happened to me a few months ago too. I had to email them in to get my ROTM "released" over a month after it was announced...AKA they forgot to ship it.
I promptly replied with the fact the records I paid for have been out for a month and I have been waiting. I admittedly was not very nice in this response, but they've exhausted my patience. I told them I wanted answers and that i would pursue them until they came clean.
 
Obviously there's no way for us to know for sure, but there have been several articles published about VMP that used numbers provided by VMP that the writers thought were credible. It's the one thing about VMP that I don't really see any reason to doubt.

I think it was the Billboard article (now behind a paywall) that most recently provided rough number estimates in the ~30k range, with mentions that the Classics and R&HH tracks were each selling in the ~5k ballpark. But prior to that, they were floating ~15k numbers in 2016, and even have publicly discussed a mistake in 2015 when they overestimated how many copies of an AOTM they were going to sell when they ordered 25,000 copies.
I think it's worth noting that the 30k was 30k track subscriptions IIRC, not 30k unique subscribers. I have a feeling they took a hit from people cancelling from pandemic, although record sales have overall been very good during the pandemic...so who knows really? I mentioned something about there being 5k+ ROTM subscribers sometime last year for RHH on reddit and Storf said he wished it was that many. My loose guess is they have around 12-15k total subscribers at any given point and maybe less than that. If everyone shifts to a yearly plan I really don't know how VMP will manage that cashflow.

Yep, I know without a shadow of a doubt I'm going to need to email. I still don't have White Stripes as it is, say nothing for this month's.... But I'll wait till the 15th before I inevitably have to send it.
 
Since Friday I got shipping updates for 10 records, shipped in 5 different packages. One of them has this in the DHL tracking info that I haven’t seen before, wondering if anyone else has in the past:
I found when they switched over to the new store/tracking it was really hard to track the DHL packages without using something like parcelapp. Is there a tracking number on your VMP orders page?

I’ve had that issue in the past but this time their tracking link leads to a proper DHL tracking page and it shows the same info as parcelsapp. All other packages look good, it’s just this one shows this potential issue. I probably should contact VMP as they probably screwed something up, it we all know how well that can go.
