Yea I think the early ones were 1K only but they surely upped it as it got more popular. I get why they don’t advertise their pressing numbers from a FOMO business perspective...but it can be pretty frustrating as a customer.

That's one thing that doesn’t frustrate me, I couldn’t care less about pressing size If I get the record pressed and mastered well it could be 1 of 1 billion for all I care lol

Fair enough. I think it only annoyed me on albums I missed and have crazy resale value haha. Because I want to say “why is this so much!?! 15k copies were pressed!”

I love Tom Hanks and appreciate his dramatic work but his pre-Philadelphia movies are largely under appreciated. He’s a funny dude.

Tom Hanks in "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" was the biggest surprise to me. He played the role so well that i forgot it was Tom Hanks. Everyone should give it a watch. It is not what you expect at all out of a Fred Rogers movie.

Has no one mentioned Big or is it being left alone because it's so obvious? I can't knock Hanks' rom-coms like You've Got Mail. I feel it's movies like that which show what that genre can be; rather than just a vehicle for trending stars to make a quick buck and keep their name in the marquees.

Forrest Gump will forever cement him in brilliance - we had this on VHS growing up; I actually read the books b/c of the movie; and oh boy that killer soundtrack. I feel like that is such a special movie that could be a one-and-done if that's all that an actor is remembered for; but he has had such a huge career outside of it and largely (seemingly) stayed away from the trappings of Hollywood.

I'll give a shout out to Bridge of Spies. A great drama.
