Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Curated by storf isn't a selling point as I saw his posts on the old forum. Enjoy your Florida Georgia line LPs.
Ha! I had forgotten about that. It's like having him curate a craft beer of the month club.
I donā€™t want a Country track at all...šŸ„ŗ

And.....I donā€™t want to become too invested in the genre because I donā€™t find the genre attractive at all...šŸ˜©šŸ¤šŸ„±
What does that even mean?

Posting for future reference, @NathanRicaud says no now, but just you wait...
I love VMP with all my heart, but I love myself too, so I doubt I will really enjoy country music. Iā€™m very open to trying it out though, if I like a bit of the album which ends up being ROTM!

Thereā€™s been a lot of VMP exclusives that have never interested me, in particular the new release Country store exclusives!

He likes alot of good country too. He is also the one who picked the Willie, Loretta, and Townes albums. And brought us exclusives from Sturgill, Jinks, Cauthen, Margo, etc.

Its possible to have a diverse enough taste to like some good quality music as well as the mindless guilty pleasure trash. I know I do.

Theres plenty of great attractive country music out there. take it from the guy who has the complete discography of Charli XCX on the shelf in between my Johnny Cash and Tyler Childers collections

Then do i have the vinyl subscription for you!

All jokes aside, I know that the fact he likes FGL and Sam Hunt will give some people pause, but hes got some real good taste too. And the vast majority of mainstream acts dont need VMP and would cost too much on licensing anyway (Same reason we donā€™t really see other mainstream pop albums).

I think his taste fairly basic but that is fine. There are lots of basic Country albums (especially from the 90s) that could use a reissue. More options is never a bad thing.

Fair but as he curates the track Im sure his taste will expand too and heā€™ll discover other great acts.

Regardless as a huge Country fan, this was needed. Unlike genres like Rock and Jazz, there is hardly any reissues of older country except for some of the classics by the big players.
