Yeah, if they put out any of those it would be an Essential since they're such big, main stream albums.
Hank Sr would probably be a VMP Country pick though. He was in the singles era, not really of the album era. And what LPs he did put out would be more obscure picks. Honestly, country music throughout the years has been single-driven, much like blues until the 60s, it's quite different than jazz and rock/pop in that way.

Just got the David Gray VMP press that they restocked briefly last week and wow, certainly a worthy upgrade from the standard press. Lot of little instrumental details I never picked up on until now and it’s made this album even better, and it’s already one of all time favorite albums! On another note my Helena Deland exclusive showed up chip and it has a very noticeable whooshing/heart beat sound noise that permeates in the low end through out the entire album and it’s present on EVERY rotation. So that’s lame

In what should be a surprise to no one, I just got a delay email for Khruangbin's LNT, pushing it back to January. I've come to expect every exclusive to end up shipping 1-3 months after their initial release date.

Yeah, I don't get this. Why not just under-promise over-deliver? I'd rather get a record a month earlier than stated than a month later.

I mean who knows, the RSD has good reviews. But it's on simple black vinyl. PRP is GZ but in my experience with even more issues. Could be fine, could be no fill city. But at 2000 copies probably a good chance you could get a clean replacement either way so sure why not...

It cost me £11.73 with the voucher applied. The other RSD pressing is going for £50+ here in the UK and the reviews seem good for that.
