Jack White approves.
Just stopped by to post the same thing. Good for them - but they seem to be saying, "All those production issues in the past were not our fault, so we're going to take over the process from soup-to-nuts."
Good luck, VMP!
they will still find people to blame haha. but seriously, best of luck to them.or have no one else to blame
At least they won't have anyone else to blame!
I figured this would already be the talk of the town. Won’t increase the number of VMP releases I get, but I have to say this is the most interesting thing they’ve done in a long time.VMP Announces New Audiophile-Grade Vinyl Pressing Plant
As VMP approaches a decade of creating transcendent, tangible experiences with music, we are thrilled to announce that we will be opening a new audiophile-grade pressing plant in Denver. The new plant is scheduled to open by the end of 2022 for production, tours and special events.www.vinylmeplease.com

I'm a little curious as to who's footing the bill for this new plant. Will that $52USD International monthly sub breach $60?
That's.... that's a broom closet.View attachment 136906
Salstrom and Rawlings are names that make me optimistic this will be a good thing with high standards.
Less optimistic when I notice more square footage has been assigned to the bar than the QC room though.
Those investors could also ask VMP to increase the cost to cover this venture, so I'm not entirely optimistic that price isn't going to rise in the next year or two.VMP has to have some investors somewhere. No way they are doing this strictly out of pocket.
At least they're on opposite sides of the building, will make it harder to do shots before qc'ingmore square footage has been assigned to the bar than the QC room
