Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I'm so happy with the Fania Records exclusives! I've listened to them and really enjoy all of them, especially The Hustler & Alma Con Alma. I love how VMP are doing both Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 of Live at The Yankee Stadium! OMG, I'm in love with these three exclusives already! Feels like a long time since I've been this excited about a store exclusive 😅

Not that it matters as much, but I think the colour variants all look really good! Definitely grabbing the Fania Records Bundle tomorrow! :cool:

I would not bet on all of them hitting swaps next month. Joeöl Ross or th Mr. Bongo Sample records never made the swaps officially and were only available through dealings with CS. I would be surprised if daydream goes to swap because it makes no sense business-wise to be the exclusive seller of a record (that seems not to be specuially limited) and sell it for over 30$ but than let everyone swap for it for 23$. Bu, it´s vmp, so who knows.
I have to admit that out of list Anak Ko is the one that interests me most, but the indie exclusive that is sold here seems to also look great, is available for cheaper than 23$ and will be here way before the vmp Version.
Besides that, North Hills is interesting, because i have not seen any other versions around in my german Mailorder Shops, yet.
But, having all the old rotms i want from Sales and swaps and not much exclusives i´m interested in to swap, `im slowly running out of swap ideas. I was eyeing skull snaps, but just grabbed the black Mr. Bongo Version for 10$ from a warehouse deall So i´ll probably just cancel whichever sub does not interest me.

But why do they continue to use mediocre pressing plants? At least with the Prestige titles, they could say that Rainbo had the contract. Is this part of a bigger Fania reissue campaign?

Just a heads up that all the Fania titles are going to be available at retailers in standard black if you're cool with that. These are being done by Craft records, which unfortunately seems to be using MRP more and more.

Thanks. I'm done supporting VMP exclusives that I can buy elsewhere until they finally get their shipping bs figured out.

Sad but true, I wait on when they’re in stock to buy or swap. I’ll miss out on a few that sell out quick but it saves the headache of not receiving something I paid for.

Yeah, this holding back my current shipment of 8 records because of just 1 arriving late is the last straw for me. I have no issue with records getting delayed that's not VMPs fault. Holding back my other 7 records is though.

Yeah, I messaged them online yesterday to see what the hold up was and got the same story. I was told it was expected today or tomorrow. We'll see I guess!
