All it says online is that it's pressed at MRP and there are 500 of them

I'm pretty furious about this. I am not nearly as critical about VMPs business decisions as most. But their continued inability to ship on time I am losing my patience with. I have 7 other records in this box and would much rather just have them push Joel 1 Month than delay the whole thing. Especially considering the later my box goes out, the more chance I have of items being oversold or damages not having replacements available anymore.
I have 13 in my box next month but I'm likely cancelling a few now. And I was ready to buy the 2 new Prestige titles today and that is definitely not happening.

But why do they continue to use mediocre pressing plants? At least with the Prestige titles, they could say that Rainbo had the contract. Is this part of a bigger Fania reissue campaign?

I think they press where the plates are so Fania may have a deal with MRP.
VMP seems to default to GZ (except some Classics pressings) so my assumption is that if it's not GZ, VMP didn't have much of a say

Exactly. The Hustler and Alma con Alma have never been reissued before this, and the Allstars reissue was in France, so why would MRP have the contract? That's why I asked if there is a Fania reissue campaign (bigger than VMP) that I hadn't heard of.

I should have said since I joined in March 2018, they’ve been boring. I guess I need more than a small logo on a plain white shirt to justify $30-35.
