Outkast is back in the store, and it appears at least 30 copies are available (I was able to put that many in the cart). Not a swaption yet, but you could ask CS to do the work for you.
For my Canadian friends.........
I was at a gig tonight discussing another gig I have upcoming. It is mostly 90's music.
The bass player out of nowhere said "WAIT, didn't you used to sing a Tragically Hip song?"
You mean "Bobcaygeon?"
"YES, we HAVE to do that one!"
And, as I sit and type this, I would cry a thousand rivers of happiness to see an exclusive of The Hip's Phantom Power.
MAKE! IT! HAPPEN!
...or for that matter, Day For Night, Trouble At The Henhouse,... shit, there's at least five albums I would love to see, and I could see 300-500 copies being eaten up.
As someone who lives 30mins from Bobcaygeon. I hate every reminder of that song because every cottage-bro and bro-ette has those lyrics plastered on their tshirts, pillows and anywhere else that can be stencilled/etched
Do you know the deal with Blue World? I think it is very disingenuous to call it an album. Unless you are a Coltrane completionist and already have everything else, I'd focus on the others.Ok, Is anyone willing to talk me out of swapping for Gorillaz this month? I joined VMP with Sorcerer, and ever since I’ve consistently heard about that Gorillaz package.
Here’s the thing...I’m just not sure how much I’d spin it. Ive given the album 2 listens, and it just kinda depresses me. Am I missing anything? Backup options are Byrd - Fancy Free, Darrell Banks, The Lightmen, or asking them to give me Coltrane - Blue World.
Thanks
Messaged CS and asked to swap for Outkast. I purchased the 2 albums I wanted the most when I saw they weren't available as swaps (Yusef and The Hustler) and canceled my membership, but I would stick around if they let me get Southernplaya
Same but ours was a 1997 Playboy. We built a shrine around it.I found a Hustler in the woods once when I was nine.

I have that new Abbey Road Day For Night Remaster, it's GLORIOUS.They just released a 25th anniversary edition of Day For Night literally this week!
But I agree, almost any Tragically Hip exclusive I would jump on. Phantom Power and Trouble At The Henhouse would be right up at the top of the list, and I would also love to see In Violet Light.
Lightmen is my favorite of those. Demon Days is a good record but if you wouldn't listen to it then what's the point?Ok, Is anyone willing to talk me out of swapping for Gorillaz this month? I joined VMP with Sorcerer, and ever since I’ve consistently heard about that Gorillaz package.

They agreed to let me swap for the Angel Olsen so happy enough with the classics, gorillaz and Angel Olsen this month as a comeback and to make sure I get QOTSA next month. Hoping I can get QOTSA, classics and a swap to desert session next month!
say what !?!?!
