Nice! Very promising!
I like the cover artTORRES 'Silver Tongue' | Vinyl Me, Please
Named after those whose words are so potent they cause the people and beings around them to vibrate, 'Silver Tongue' is a full-scale realization of the world Mackenzie Scott has created over TORRES’ last few albums, and the first TORRES record produced solely by Scott. Sadly it's pressed at Precision which is one of those pressing plants to avoid, otherwise I would likely get thisTORRES 'Silver Tongue' | Vinyl Me, Please

My subscription ends with my November record, going out on high note with Brubeck. I still have some store credit to use up. Does anyone know what happens if I purchase this Torres album which won't ship until February (read: April)? Do I need to be a member to receive the record or just at the time of purchase?
Was just about to snag the Merge store version, but this mock-up looks unreal. Tough choices...

Man, my original September package got lost. They sent me a second one and that seems to have also been lost. Both were sent with partial tracking. Now Paul tells me my records from September are OOS and they'll have to refund me.
October box isn't here yet, but it has full tracking and seems to be moving along with no issues.
Guessing the customs # stops tracking after it's released from US customs.Forgive my ignorance, but how can tracking be "partial"?

This.
Pretty much all the deliveries I’ve had through VMP are handled by DHL at the USA end but are not handled by DHL at the Australian end. It’s usually our national postal service or occasionally some some random courier company.
The Tracking number will be different locally unless it’s a delivery handled by the same courier at the destination.
It's like that here too. There's usually that second number for the Brazilian Postal service. Neither my original September package not the replacement one had that second number. In Canada, DHL handles it in the US but hands off to Canada Post. For me, on the right of the DHL screen is a number under "Delivery by USPS Intl". This is the Canada Post tracking number.
I cut and paste that number into google (adding Canada Post) and it gives me a link to Canada Post's tracking site
Maybe those records are cursed? On a positive note, they found extra copies of records I had ordered and they're sending me replacements for the third time. Not sure yet if it'll be shipped with my November order or separately.
Then I hope they're sent separately, I don't want my November box cursed!Maybe those records are cursed?

It says "ARRIVAL IN COUNTRY [DESTINATION COUNTRY - TRACKING UPDATES MAY END HERE, WILL BE DELIVERED SHORTLY]"
There's no tracking for the final delivery.
VMP doesn't have a clue, DHL CS just gives me an automatic answer and local Postal Sevice says that missing tracking number should have been generated by DHL.Ah, OK. Any idea how to figure out where the screwup is happening? I'm trying to think if there's any way VMP could ship to you differently, or if this is the fault of the destination country's postal service. Sucks to see it keep happening to you, but stories like yours is why I rarely import.
