I finally listened to this today at higher volumes and yeah, the first song is really noisy. I am usually lenient, but I sent VMP an email because it was so bad. I’ve only done that once before (for Stars)

Not to be flippant, but who knows. If they have a sale, VMP will probably say that it is for members only but then they will use a special secret web address like app.vinylmeplease.com/blackfriday2019 and it will be open to everyone within 5 minutes. I think last time it was supposed to be for members for the first day, with an email discount code. But the code was not member specific so anyone could use it.

Yep. Beginning of side B was also pretty bad, but not as atrocious as side A.
Thankfully my replacement sounded a lot better, so I definitely recommend reaching out to CS if it’s that bad on yours.

My copy had no issues - it's a great album, and a nice pick up at $23 (swap price). I have seen maybe 2-3 others who also ended up with good copies, but it should be noted that many others have had a less favorable outcome.

Was just browsing the VMP page on Reddit and saw a post about still woozy being the next rising artist. I haven’t been a member since the forum fiasco but this might get me to sign up again. I’ve been waiting for still woozy to get stuff pressed for months and I think it’s gonna be a quick seller since he has a pretty big fan base. Anyone else excited or have thoughts about that release?

OMG!!! I’m so excited about that! I absolutely love The Lately EP!!! I love how psychedelic, yet how cute, chirpy and dizzying it all sounds!
Yeah, Still Woozy is very popular so I reckon that if the Lately EP is limited to 500 copies, it will go within 3 days! Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if it sold out within 24 hours!

Wish the UGK Pitchfork x Vinyl Me, Please exclusive wasn’t such a flop, because I feel like we might have gotten the next collaborative exclusive earlier! Still such a disappointing pick and the mastering as well as colour variant wasn’t amazing too
I’m still really hoping we get Fiona Apple’s When The Pawn........
