How many of you that have received a recent VMP shipment did so without having received a notification of said shipment? I've still heard NOTHING from them, though I did get an auto "you left something in your cart" email which is just straight up inaccurate. The last thing I'd be doing on that website right now is SHOPPING for anything.

Just got my Mobb Deep, beginning of seam split on the spine but otherwise looks good.
I never do this but I may have "repaired" the split with a magic marker. Totally unnoticeable now.
What it makes me feel better, shut up.


I see no declaration of value anywhere on it. So I don't know what's going on there. I'll check tonight for skips. Still no notice on anything else.
 
Just to add to this VMP frustration... If, they ever do ship it would be to the point where I'll be out of town! Can't have the USPS hold them for me if there's no tracking number... They are going to be sitting outside for at least two weeks
Same here. I'm gone beginning Friday for 10 days of family holiday shenanigans. I've already accepted the fact that my wife won't be getting Shura as one of her Christmas gifts.

Haven't heard about or received my Aretha, BB King or Fiona and now I'm wondering if my Torres pre-order from Black Friday is somehow screwing everything up.

Oh, and I just checked my CC statement and my cancelation for Lloyd Miller that was "processed" on Dec. 1 never came through, despite Pauly & the VMP back-end saying otherwise. I'm a patient man, but shit...
 
I'm wondering about this also. I got notice on the 14th about shipping but they haven't moved out of the pre-shipment status. Either they are in the mail without the tracking or something more shady is afoot. Claiming records have shipped while only the shipping label has been printed is nefarious as shit. Please let me know if someone has emailed about this and gotten an answer.
Update: I replied to a tweet about this issue and within an hour my two packages start moving. Coincidence? Who knows.

You guys (and everyone else) need to sign up for USPS informed delivery. That way you don't have to rely on the broken VMP system to give you a shipping notification. You will see it on your dashboard, along with the added benefit of seeing a picture of all the mail being delivered every day.

I've also had a refund "processed" that as of yet has not come though. I'll wait the requisite amount of time but I called Visa today to prepare a chargeback if VMP doesn't fix it.

just heard from Pauly. My November order was shipped but they don’t know where to. Also the records I got are sold out.
I'm sorry man, that is absolute garbage.

And like I said yesterday, they have no idea what the system is doing, they're actually asking people to tell them what they shipped to them, sending shipments to unknown addresses, sending albums one by one at random times with no shipping notice, refunding items but the refunds don't actually go through... They've completely lost control over their inventory and entire computer system...

Are you the guy I just responded to on reddit with the same issue? If so on your dashboard there is an "email support" button. I would suggest that and let them know the issue. Hopefully their response rate is better than VMP currently but I imagine they are just as flooded during their busiest season.

Nope, I'll give it a shot. They do a great job of scanning in all my junk mail every day, just never populates anything for packages.

FWIW, informed delivery isn't always available, depending on where you live.
