in the cruelest twist of fate, they actually sent out both of my boxes over a week ago but neither have updated for days in the UPS tracking info and no longer show delivery dates. i hope they're enjoying their scenic tour of our country or whomever stole them from the truck is treating them well...

Looks like mine did too but it still is messed up. Says black friday purchases are missing. Frances Quinlan is listed as fulfilled which isn't supposed to ship until January box. So who knows.
 
Am I the only one that actually paid off the account per the agreement?

I did when I was in high school and joined to get a bunch of Incubus CDs (and Eiffel 65, #neverforget). But on like 5 occasions when I was middle school aged, I signed up without my mom knowing, then she caught wind and nipped it in the bud. To her credit, she also made me send back the "free" cassettes so I wasn't pulling one over on them
 
so people have already mentioned signing up for informed delivery- but even without, you should be able to schedule a mail hold for your address and request that you pick them up from post office on return. they will hold everything- all packages and junk mail. if! anything is coming from UPS or FedEx, those are harder to schedule and more limited, but you can do holds with them as well.

another thing if you can't get the above sorted... not sure if you'd feel comfortable with someone from the internet, but if you don't have a pause on delivery scheduled and get notice, I live in SA and could theoretically snag and hold the package for you. I'll be in town except for Dec. 29-Jan. 4.

I think I'll be good, I'll put a hold on all mail until I return. That would be the best option! Thanks for the offer tho!
 
Still no shipping notice except jennings and not even a generic reply.
Next e-mail will be asking to cancel my orders. But i await the following answer:

Finally got a response from CS. "They are not able to say when it will ship out but they are working hard." blah blah blahI'm promarily worried about an Oversold situation especially with Clairo, Blossom Dearie, and Queen. They said "if you were able to order it, it should reflect appropriately over to our inventory. It's just waiting to be packaged.... unless its oversold" Which is the one thing I'm sure is gonna happen with their migration...
 
Despite the recent CS tragedy. You can't deny how great the VMP customer service was leading up to this point.
Oh yes I can. Customer service is the entire picture: taking the order, ensuring the quality of the product, securely packaging it for shipping and providing accurate answers to any questions.
just heard from Pauly. My November order was shipped but they don’t know where to. Also the records I got are sold out.
But if he was polite, that’s great customer service!!!
