i got a 3-mo renewal heads up email today and it did state that the 'estimated charge on renewal' would be $87.51, so it seems there is some sort of tax calculation added to these where applicable.

however, the billing address they note in the email is from a place i haven't lived at in over two years, and only my current address is on the website, so that's cool.

@Murfocakes and @Joe Mac you might be able to help me with this one. So the 2 ROTM got through customs fine and I now have tracking for the others. 1 parcel has 2 black friday sale records in there with the total cost to me being 28USD (its Cecil Taylor and the Art Ensemble of Chicago) but after checking that Parcel App website it says the declared value is 72USD.....2.5 times the price I paid. Did the fees you got hit with relate to the number shown on the tracking or was it based on the price you paid? Im baffled where they got the 72USD from unless that was the original price of the 2 combined.

If I end up getting a 'custom fee to pay' slip which is calculated from the 72USD im not going to pay it and shoot CS a photocopy of them and ask what the hells going on.

Just a heads up that the UK limit for imports without VAT is £15, not £20, just in case you do place orders elsewhere that might be between the two thinking you're safe.

Well I reupped and got a free record (Phoenix) and Dave is gone forever.
More upset about Dave as I actually wanted whereas Phoenix was a bonus.

So I was done with VMP , then came back in nov to get Dave and my free record. Hung out and got 30% of A Olsen. Then was like, yeah I’ll treat myself to run dmc on green.

But basically I lost opportunity for Dave and a free VMP record. No idea about Olsen.

run dmc will probably show up in Jan.

Just FYI, I was just sent a shipping email about a replacement Brubeck. Maybe they tripped over more boxes? Might want to ask again.

I was told as recently as last week that there weren’t any replacements for this I was offered a refund or credit which I replied for credit which would have covered this months Classic sub. I’ve not heard back from them and can’t see a spot where credits show on the membership page.

My request was from 11.14 but just now shipped, so not sure what that means. Cautiously optimistic? I know there was a UI glitch for credits where they werent showing up on the Member page, but if you go to buy something, you would have an option to use the credits as payment.

So they mailed me Fiona...and the Ella Fitzgerald Christmas record that I cancelled before Christmas since I knew it wouldn't reach me in time. Sonny Rollins is still in limbo I guess. Refund for Ella hasn't hit my credit card yet so I guess I'll hold off contacting them till it does.

Nope. My stylus was jumping all over the place the closer it got to the middle. I got a good copy on eBay a while ago.

Wow, took a few days off from the forum and I had to skip 40+ pages!
I'm assuming it's still the same ol' news around here, but to look like people are finally getting some deliveries.

Still very interested to see how VMP's terrible close to 2019 effects them in 2020.

They're showing as fulfilled and I received tracking notices for both.

My monthly Classics/Essentials are still showing unfulfilled and didn't receive a shipping email despite already getting them.

Their updated on the 27th of Dec CS page says everything would be cleared by the end of that week.
Clearly not. Having had no response to my CS query about orders dating back to beginning of Nov I have had no option but to inform them that I am escalating this further with whatever trading standards body will cover this.
I have hundreds of £££ of outstanding orders, zero response from the company and zero visibility of when they will ship.
I have nothing to give me any confidence that I will get these orders. Claiming only 5% orders outstanding? I just don’t believe it from what I am reading of peoples experiences here and elsewhere.
they aren’t the biggest company in the world so even if it was only 5% then that could be cleared easily.The fact they can’t clear this tells me something is seriously amiss at VMP. So basically I’ve told them to give me some kind of response or else I will have no option but to take it further . These weren’t preorders. They were all on stock ordered at beginning of November. I don’t care who it is, you can’t take hundreds of pounds of hard earned money and deliver nothing and not respond. That’s theft.
