I wasn't picking on you! You felt like you made a mistake and you took care of it. You're good people, @btf1980 .

We all make mistakes; that's just life. It's how you handle mistakes that defines any person or organization. This is where VMP continuously fails.

If I remember well, they did pretty good job in 2015 with J-Dilla and last year with the missprint of Queen.
 
For what it's worth, after going back and forth with Tyler and Pauly I now have replacements of almost every album that I was initially told they were sold out of. So it appears, like I'd assumed, that a lot of the newer CS people just don't seem to know if they actually have stock of anything. The only thing I was unable to get fixed was Ann Arbor Blues Vol 1, well and Rolling Stones but I figured as much on that one.

Aretha too? Aside from 5 potential over solds, I’m waiting on a response about a replacement of that.

Well, yeah, and that's why I feel bad for Paul. This isn't his fault, but he's been tasked with cleaning it up.

Me feeling bad for him and the potential of ever re-joining for future RotMs are mutually exclusive. I don't feel bad for VMP, or Pauly the VMP employee. I feel bad for Pauly the person. I could give 2 shits about the CEO or any executive at VMP, and my decision as a consumer is no more driven by who their executives are anymore than those at any other company drives my decision.

I guess I just don't feel manipulated. I can separate my pity for Pauly from my consumerist tendencies.
 
Update:

Handsome Boy Modeling School (restock) refunded on 1/10. @jaycee hooked up a copy, though!

Waiting on a (hopeful) replacement/refund/credit for my TLC split and then I am donezo.

I e-mailed Matt today (again) so perhaps that helped.

1 down, 1 to go!

Edit: Matt hack may have worked. Got a real response regarding refund and jacket.

I never tried sending him an email and I want a last attempt at seeing if the sold out records still exists before pushing harder for a refund

Final record from the oversell says refund pending. Still never got a Comet is Coming replacement but did get a Jinx replacement.

All outstanding orders (minus Grae) show as shipped with tracking. I guess I'll count my blessings.
