Poor @Lee Newman has been accused of this awful cross to bear alsoThat’s strictly a joke. I did not actually mean to be so derogatory towards @NathanRicaud, he’s way more of a treasure than Winistorfer could ever be.

Yep same here...they have no clue I’m sureIf this was the most recent "restock", I tried to purchase one as well and they nixed it the next morning. Curious they are giving you the runaround.
If he starts trying to get everyone to buy that Jim Sullivan album then I’ll know something is fishy.Ah ok I missed all that thanks Joe
Well imo it sounds like Nathan has been transparent about what they have done and continued to just be himself. That's just the way I'm seeing it & is totally fine by me. As long as he continues to call out bad picks like he has previously and stays authentic I dont see any issues.
Also, I want to recommend Jennifer Lopez’ “On The 6” for those of you who are thinking about grabbing that exclusive. It features some incredible singles on there which alone is worth the purchase in my opinion!
“If You Had My Love” is one of the best songs of 1999 in my opinion. It is a restrained, neat, tightly produced song that had a suave undertone to it. Lopez’ really stretches out her vocals on the song and it, paired with the production, creates a compelling yet spellbinding sound!
“Lets Get Loud”, one of the many Latin flavoured tracks on the album, is just a high-energy, fiery, victorious, red-hot, in your face track that really benefits from the passionate choir sounding vocals. It’s an aggressively sexy salsa song that’s so lively and present, it takes over you!
Waiting For Tonight is the centrepiece though! It is such a euro-mediterranean flavoured club banger that never ages! It has a pulsating, anxious, aesthetic to it, and really encapsulates that “wanting to get with someone for the night so badly”! I love the gentle, soothing guitar strokes and the percussive rhythm of the track! It’s just a magical song!
I also really like a lot of the latin-flscoired romantic, sultry, lustful tracks on here. “Open Off My Love” is the best one from the bunch, a tropical, playful, mysterious song that features an incredibly sexy, irresistibly catchy saxophone loop in the chorus. The Piano keys are chirpy and compliment the trumpet jabs played during the verses. And Jennifer Lopez cool and calm vocals only increase the raw sex appeal the song has!
The breezy yet bouncy, sunshine, carefree/spirited “Feelin So Good” is also such a jam!
If you want to get a Jennifer Lopez exclusives, definitely go for “On The 6”, it’s easily the better album!
Ah ok I missed all that thanks Joe

Yeah. They basically told him that they want to reward him with a lifetime membership for being a cheerleader, because they want to keep him doing that... more or less. So, he got it, because he's always done that, but also because they want him to keep doing it. I mean, it is what it is. Plus, they've jerked him around enough that he deserves some sort of compensation. On the other hand, you have the message that, if you let them fuck with you and still praise them, then you get rewarded, but if you ask a question about what's going on with your orders being canceled or delivered to retailers, they'll straight up shut down their forum, tell you to fuck yourself, and have staff members condescend you to trigger mobs to shame and insult you. I know Nathan's enthusiasm is genuine, but... it's another move that VMP made that could easily create some uncomfortable reactions or negative emotions for other members, especially those that have been put through more and/or put in a lot of free work (reddit and forum mods, etc.) that were never responded to with any level of real appreciation.
Nathan's always left positive reactions on the forum, but that obviously why it seem like they must be lurking around here. In the past, if someone asked about an album, he'd go into detail, or if it was something new he was checking out. Giving a track by track breakdown on the biggest albums of mainstream artists that everyone is already familiar with, by telling us to "get it or regret it!!!"... you know... it sounds a little forced. Maybe not. It's probably just how it's always been, but the parts literally urging members to buy these albums while using FOMO is really off putting, considering that we're dealing with VMP here and that's already an issue.
so T Pain
I was so absolutely convinced my wife would really want that T-Pain insta-bought it.
I came home from work and told her how Epiphany was getting its first vinyl pressing and she responded, “Oh, that’s cool. I guess.”
This is only subjective but I feel like VMP are not giving me a lifetime membership for free because they want me to keep being a positive “cheerleader” for them. I don’t want to sound up myself or conceited, but I think I got the lifetime membership because of how I’ve been overall, with the sweet, positive messages, because I buy a lot of VMP exclusives and because I was very patient and re-subscribed to VMP at my own cost, even though I had credit which I wanted to be used towards the membership renewal. I think VMP gave it to me out of generosity and because it really does mean a lot to them to have a customer like me, especially as they have been overwhelmed with things going wrong!Yeah. The “get it or regret it” line looking back at it does seem forced! I should’ve said that instead about Still Woozy, as I was hyping up that exclusive and I just had an instinct it was going to sell out really quickly! I would’ve wanted more N&G members to get it! So I guess that’s what I was sort of thinking with T-Pain. But now that I think about it, most people on here, like you indicated, wouldn’t care at all for mainstream artists like T-Pain or Jennifer Lopez! Still Woozy.......YES! It’s definitely an artist many people on here would be interested in!
But yeah, maybe no more “make sure you buy this” kinda wording when it comes to exclusives because some people will be going as I have the lifetime membership!
Omg, as if she reacted like that!!!I was so absolutely convinced my wife would really want that T-Pain insta-bought it.
I came home from work and told her how Epiphany was getting its first vinyl pressing and she responded, “Oh, that’s cool. I guess.”
You already know I don’t think it’s sexy enough to buy!Just don't tell us to buy the anorak.
No, don’t say that! I really like Storf actually! I love his passion for the Classics track and the frequent updates he used to give us about exclusives dropping via Reddit! He honestly seems like a really sweet guy! He’s definitely cocky sometimes but it’s no killer for me. In my eyes, he’s a cute, gentle giant that has an adorable Kirby face you just want to pinch! That’s strictly a joke. I did not actually mean to be so derogatory towards @NathanRicaud, he’s way more of a treasure than Winistorfer could ever be.
I really want to know about Peggy as well! I’m hoping VMP at least limited the pressing to a minimum of 1,500! I just can’t miss out on any Peggy exclusives...Vinyl me please is getting normy
Where is the pitchfork series
AND JUST TELL ME THAT PEGGY IS ALMOST HERE
Omg, as if she reacted like that!!!
Does she even remember that album! Make her a few cocktails tonight and play “Bartender”, “Buy U A Drank” & “Tipsy” so you get a nice, easy-going, smooth, luxe, slow-grinding, nostalgic, atmosphere going on and she’ll be going......”OMG, I forgot how much I freaking love this album”!
It's the end of January just tell us if it's cancelledI really want to know about Peggy as well! I’m hoping VMP at least limited the pressing to a minimum of 1,500! I just can’t miss out on any Peggy exclusives...
