I just kept my track, nothing really moved me in swaps and to be honest, I don't have faith that VMP can fix their overselling issue in a month

I think the phantom swaps issue has been going on more than a month. Either way I am not surprised that it is switched back. This is becoming pretty regular now with swaps, that an item appears in swaps when VMP did not intend it to be there.

What would you do with more time? Apparently still not get your inventory done.

Except that they confirmed that the Woodstock box was supposed to be there and those are getting reverted back for some people, too. Plus, they still have copies of those in stock.

This has happened to me more than once where they don't even respond until after shipping and they've had to send the album I was supposed to get on top of the one that I didn't want. Those were basic swaps for albums that are still in the shop today. You're right that it's not a new issue, but it's not exclusive to accidental swaptions, it's just that they never have their shit together

It's happened to me in the past, but so far they haven't switched either of my Woodstock swaps. I even asked them directly and they responded over CS chat that they'd honor it. I'll believe it when the 25 lb box is sitting on my doorstep.

If this is true i might feel bad for the "SRSLY?" tone of my email but man, the optics on this is awful.
 
That is essentially the response I got with a bit more details on why

Needed to reach out to inform you about a swap error that occurred with your account last night, and to provide a little technical background into how it happened.

When we announced yesterday, you placed a swap for the Desert Sessions title. Unfortunately, we will not be able to fulfill that swap for you, due to this error. I will quote exactly what the team told me once the issue was raised:

"The attached customers who swapped yesterday were erroneously shown a confirmation page. This is due to a race condition error that was exacerbated by a 25x spike in traffic at the same time. Due to a time out on the server an error message should have displayed. Unfortunately, it did not and although we were already "oversold" on these, customers saw a confirmation page instead. Overnight we resolved the bug that caused this so that an error message will be displayed by default instead. Our apologies from the tech team for those who had a false positive."

So your swap didn't actually go through, and you are slated to receive the default title for April. Feel free to place another swap at this time, if you would like to do so.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused.
