Only on CD. The Morrissey record I really want to get is the live at Earls Court one. I was at that concert in the front row and centre with my mate and I remember the atmosphere being completely feral. I came back from it with scratches on my back from people trying to get up to see him. It was a real teen idol atmosphere. A couple of concerts I have seen have made official release, the two Bowie concerts in Dublin became A Reality Tour, R.E.M. at the Olympia and I was at the Slane Castle U2 that became Go Home, but that Morrissey night was something else.

I’m just missing the two live albums on vinyl as well..Morrissey live was/is something else .. I was at the 1988 Wolverhampton Civic Hall show and it was like nothing else I’ve attended ..absolutely adoration ..the Manchester birthday concerts on the Quarry comeback tour were also awesome ...his voice currently is the best it’s ever been imo ..the new record is sublime

Thanks for the challenge @Joe Mac ! My first pick that I chose for albums that have had on an impact on my life is going to be one that’s related to you! 🧸

Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love 💜

I’ll never forget the amazing feeling I had when I first discovered this album, due to you Joe! It was one of the first albums that made my mind open up into music outside of R&B/Soul/Jazz/Funk/Disco/Hip-Hop/Pop. It made me realise that there are so much albums out there I haven’t discovered yet in another genre, which I know I will love! ♥️🚪🗝

Ever since discovering this album, I have been pushing the boundaries of my music taste, even to this day! I’m recently getting into artists like Bob Dylan and John Lennon and have a good range of rock albums I spin on my turntable; something I’d never imagine myself doing! 💭

no camera at hand right now . Common . Like water for chocolate

spinning this

went into this looking at shelf - do i really need four Common albums ?

playing this and hearing production by Dilla, ?uestlove, Primo and D´Angelo ... i think its a keeper
I love this album so freaking much! It’s totally my vibe 100% Love those neo-soul, groovy, smooth as butter, nocturnal, chilled vibes! This album is a keeper big time! 💎

My collection #363

Herbert von Karajan - Beethoven Symphonies 8 & 9

Somehow put this in the Blue Note thread by mistake! Anyway, I found this in a skip in our road 😢 and haven't played it despite my normal rule of 2-3 spins before shelving new records. It sounds remarkably good for having been thrown away. Love a bit of Beethoven every now and then...
