Just musing while trying to not fall asleep at work,...

Is James Lavelle like my generations more likable version of DJ Khalid, he seems like a good dude and is super knowledgeable about music and the Mox Wax label is great but it’s more about who is friends are than any actual musical talent he has, don’t get me wrong I really like Lavelle (where I can’t stand Khalid) but neither are really musicians, right?

I think this album in particular is about just how fucking good DJ Shadow was/is. is a fair way ahead of the rest of the UNKLE output for me.

How does their stuff sound on vinyl? I love this band but never picked up their records thinking if the mastering isn't just right their sound would really suffer.
