I saw them a couple times, once at a dive bar in El Cajon, and another at SXSW just after Building came out. A friend of mine was a music writer and knew Jon at the time, even called him out from the stage. Such a good band.

Seeing this made me do a Wiki search about the band in general - I knew Jon had passed, but not the circumstances. Gutting. Building was repressed as a RSD release a few years ago, so I might have to get it.

Yeah the whole band’s story is rather tragic, with Chris’ son passing, then Jon. He had such a remarkable voice, and was a genuinely nice guy.
