What's Spinning

Yeah. The 1210GR. I've a At Vm740ml on it and its a pretty wild match. I'm coming from a Rega RP3 that ive always thought was a pretty decent turntable but this is phenomenal. I kinda want to hear the G now to see what another £1500 gets you.

Nice! I'm running an AT (AT150sa) on my table too and I love it. I have a spare stylus but I'll have to use one of the VM's later on (they're compatible with my 150 cart). Love the sound - the highs are well translated but nothing is harsh or tiring.

Is that the Shibata? Amazon UK has a good deal on the slc stylus and I was thinking about getting it and keeping it for when this is done but the Shibata gets great write ups too

Yes it is. The VMN50SH is the current equivalent if I understand correctly from this compatibility chart I have.

My collection #909-910

The Beatles - Anthology 3
Tout Puissant Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou - Melome Clement

My last Beatles record and although it seems obvious, what a band. My love for them never diminishes. And not my last Poly-Rythmo, but in fact the first of a whole slew of releases not on their main record label. Away from that label, they tended to give each member of the band the chance to have their own album and this and the next few are by their leader Melome Clement. He seems a bit older than the rest of them but is a total dude. One of the few African records I have that is warped, even though most of them have been kept in dusty v warm conditions for decades...
