Silverchair - Neon Ballroom (1999, reissue 2015)

SRC Vinyl exclusive limited edition press /1500. Lacquers cut and mastered by Kevin Gray (!) and plated at RTI (!). This album has more grit and intensity than their more popular debut Frogstomp. This band was the last stand for grunge until full-throttled post grunge bands (especially Seether and Bully) hit the ground running throughout the 2000s-2010s. This is on sale for $20 on SRC's website right now, and I'd certainly recommend grabbing it while it's left!

Delayed from RSD. Been waiting for this one. Midnight Oil “Armistice Day”. Looks great. Quality full color glossy trifold cover. 12 pg 12x12 full color booklet. Trans-red vinyl 3lp. Just dropped the needle on side one so a little early but sounds pretty good so far.

Back to vinyl LouTube...

This is a fun live record from the 80's with, next to the Rock N Roll Animal lineup, my favorite of Lou's solo bands -

Robert Quine - G
Fernando Saunders - B
Fred Maher - D

Lou Reed - Live In Italy

This isn't the album audio from the record - it's far superior - but this is shot at the Verona stop. In addition to being an angular genius on guitar, Robert Quine got Lou to start playing more guitar. His solo here is sublime.
