Really like this Neneh Cherry album produced by Kieran Hebden (and which I got as a gift from the head of the Smalltown Super sound label when I accidentally received his Amazon parcel and then delivered it to him). Plus one of Analog Africa's best compilations, full of from Somalia.
1968 US promo. Michel Legrand with Ray Brown & Shelly Manne ‘At Shelly’s Manne-Hole’. Recent inexpensive Discogs pickup. Slightly different from version I ordered but vinyl condition like new.
Writing on og inner says “bought 4/17,1972 at Dayton’s 12th & Broadway. $3.48. 1st played @ 11:07pm.” Maybe the only time it was played. Really like this. Sounds great. A little bit of history from all sides of the vinyl equation.
Not a diehard Cash fan but every collection needs a few. MoFi way underestimated the demand for this one. Gut feeling with zero real knowledge is this will be back as a new premium vinyl release someday.
