I like Jimi Hendrix but I don't love him so this and Electric Ladyland feel enough for me for him. Plus, one of the best of the current crop of UK jazz bands.

I’ve had this not long after it came out and I finally listened to this all the way though. It’s weird how some songs sound amazing and some sound not nearly as great as the rest of the sets

The Tubby Hayes Quartet - Mexican Green (Fontana, 1968 First Mono Pressing)
This album is often, rightly or wrongly, labelled as the last in Tubby's musical development. Its a real tricky one to find in decent condition, and I have to say that it might just be one of the better sounding records I have heard! Crystal clear with a real Tubby punch!
