What's Spinning

Haha, I own this and have never actually listened to it despite it being in its own dedicated frame hanging on our wall in the guest room simply because the colors matched the scheme of the room.
That's amazing.. you should listen to it! The sweet vocals of Chris Cross and Mikey McDonald are not to be left hanging on a wall!! lol

Released on this day in 1970.

In 1970, the average price of an LP was $3.50. Labels routinely had things like deluxe covers and wall-sized posters included. And the best part - they were quality pressings and sounded great.

Everyone who bought it got the best edition they could offer.

This one is no exception - a gatefold cover textured like leather with gold embossed print and a photo glued to the front of the jacket.

In today's world, they'd be trying to gouge $75-$100 a pop for something like this.

It was so much cooler when music was the most important thing about music, not limited variants, color vinyl, numbered jackets, exclusive super deluxe editions and marketing to FOMO.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Déjà vu
