Sister Rosetta Tharpe - Gospel Train (Mercury, 2019 Vinyl Me Please Classics Pressing)

I'm currently reading the behemoth biography on Thelonious Monk and it turns out that he took part in the same evangelist circuit that Sister Rosetta Tharpe was involved in, travelling town to town for 2 years 'fishing for souls' and playing in part of the group. As it happens, Monk wasn't religious at all but I guess it offered the chance to tour the country and play.
