Very sad days in West African music. Barthélemy Attiso, a Togolese lawyer who happened to be the best guitarist ever to come from Africa for me (as part of Orchestre Baobab), died at the weekend. His sound was just effortless but he could solo with the best of them. Another west African guitar hero and one of the coolest dudes in music, Victor Uwaifo, also died at the weekend. RIP both.
